A South African activist who has engaged locally, regionally and globally on the issue of women's right to communicate and access to relevant and accessible information since 1994. Jennifer works in the area of ICTs for social change, women's empowerment and creative solutions to engage with civil society to ensure that technology is used to challenge inequalities. Jennifer believes that by using methodologies such as digital storytelling and the Gender Evaluation Methodology, we can create, track and improve women's access to and use of technologies for change in a meaningful way. And hopefully influence policies which mitigate against a free and open internet.
